The tournament is down to the last 16 stage with a number of the higher profile players already having been eliminated. Of the above mentioned players only Liang Wenbo has made it into round 3 and now faces Peter Lines who yesterday defeated Gerard Greene 4-0.
There was a huge win for Welsh youngster Daniel Wells as he beat former Shanghai Masters champion Ricky Walden 4-1.

Peter Lines v Liang Wenbo, Michael Holt v Dave Harold, Ben Woolaston v Daniel Wells, Craig Steadman v Simon Bedford, Tom Ford v Tony Drago, Andy Hicks v Adrian Gunnell, Andrew Higginson v Stuart Bingham, Barry Hawkins v Fergal O’Brien.
Play continues throughout wednesday and with the final on Thursday.
