February Sunday Handicap 2009

Colin Walker won February’s Handicap at his home club defeating Joe Jogia in the final receiving 100 points start per frame the pair only played one frame for £10 after pocketing £50 each from 40 entrants.

Walker awarded extra seven points due to winning just two matches in his first two events won three of his five matches 2-1.

Jogia playing off –49 performed miracle’s to reach the final winning three frames on the black with clearances of 93, 97 and 114 and made a 101 break in the semi finals to defeat youngster Leon Munslow 2-1.

Jogia conceded starts of  maximum 100 three times, 84, 49 and 91 on his way to the final.

Newark pair Dave Jobling and Lewis Berry split the plate final money.

Ben Woollaston reached the plate semi finals also off –49 making breaks of 103 and 131.

Out of the days 76 matches – 32 decided 2-1.
