EASB Under 16 Last 16 2009-10

Sanderson Lam, Leeds and Joel Walker, Sheffield will contest the English Under 16 final on the EASB finals weekend May 22/23^rd after qualifying from the last 16 at the sponsors venue Northern SC, Leeds.

Lam from the home club defeated Under 14 Champion Oliver Lines 4-3 in the first round who lost the first frame despite a 45 break and made a 60 for 3-3, Lam 45.

He then overcame Zac Barton 4-2 who had beaten Under 14 finalist Shane Castle 4-1 finally Jordan Rimmer 4-2 who had made breaks of 44,57,61 and 71 earlier.

Walker former Under 14 winner and Riley’s junior champion opened with a 4-0 win over Clayton Humphries, 45 break, Sean O’Sullivan 4-3 who made a 104 break

for 3-3 and lastly Adam Bobat 4-2 the Under 14 finalist leading 2-0 with a 70 break.
