Sean O’Sullivan, Stepney 1st and Lewis Mayes, Laindon 4th from the Regional Tour claimed the other two automatic spots the rest of the players will have to wait and see if there are any spare places on the PJT when entries are finalised.
Lam and O’Sullivan finished top of their eight player groups losing just one match each Mayes also suffered just one loss, Jeffers still 2nd in his group despite three losses.
O’Sullivan claimed top spot in the final rankings courtesy of a 2-1 win over Lam and Jeffers defeated Mayes 2-0 in the place play off matches.
Callum Downing 5th in the rankings made the day’s highest break exactly 100 which came in the final frame of a 3-0 win against the group winner Lam, Andrew Smith also 3rd in his group finished in 6th place.
The next highest break was a 72 from Richard Remelie who could only manage 5th place in the group and 10th overall.
Phil Parkin 9th made the most breaks over forty topped by a 68 but he also only finished in 5th group place but beat Remelie 2-0.
James Sumner on the PJT last season unfortunately had a very poor day and ended up in 16th and last place.
