EUROPEAN SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIPS POLAND

David Grace, Alan Trigg, Leeds and Reanne Evans, Dudley have won all three available titles at the European Snooker Championships, Lubin, Poland.

Grace edged England colleague Craig Steadman, Bolton, 7-6 in the Mens Final to earn a nomination for next seasons World Snooker Main Tour.

In the past month Grace has won the Pontins Open and the English Amateur Championship.

All three English Mens entrants won their group of eight players playing the best of 7’s, Grace seeded 1st in the knockout stage defeated Edie Dunail, Hungary 4-1, Gregory Kopec, France 5-2, Yvan van Velthoven, Belgium 5-3 and finally Andrew Pagett, Wales, 6-4 to reach the final.

Steadman progressed to the final beating some tough opposition Martin McCrudden, Ireland 4-3, Anthony McGill, Scotland 5-2 and then former professionals Stefan Mazrocis, Holland 5-0 and Darren Morgan, Wales 5-3.

Trigg won the Masters title, (over 40’s) beating Kieran McMahon, Northern Ireland 6-4 in the final.

Evans coasted through to the Ladies Final then beat team mate Emma Bonney 5-3, Evans also made this sections highest break a 105.
