Sanderson Lam, Leeds from the sponsors venue Northern SC, Leeds will face Kamran Ashraf, Nelson in the English Under 19 final, EASB finals weekend May 22/23rd.

Lam 37th on the Premier Junior Tour is also in the Under 16 final defeated Under 14 finalist Adam Bobat 4-1, Oliver Brown 4-3, Lam 61, Brown 68 and led 3-2 finally a surprise 5-1 thrashing of Sam Craigie who won the first frame easily the last two frames on the final colours.

Ashraf trailed Jordan Winbourne twice securing the win in the closely contested final two frames, Ashraf then beat former finalist Ben Harrison 4-2, Harrison trailed 3-0 back to 3-2 with a 55 break.

And finally Ashraf edged Chris Wakelin 5-3, Asraf led 2-0 lost the 4th frame despite a 55 break, Wakelin then led 3-2, Ashraf again winning the last three frames on the colours.

Wakelin in his first season of English Snooker knocked out Mitchell Mann 4-3 and Damien Wilks 4-2.

Sam Craigie 2nd in the Premier Junior Tour made the day’s highest break 100 in the opening frame of his 4-2 quarter final defeat of Sam Harvey.

Kamran Ashraf is also in Club Players final.
