Prestatyn is the venue once again for the latest World Snooker qualification tournament.

Tom Ford continues his good form by beating Michael White 5-0 and then defeating former stable mate Jimmy Michie 5-2, thus booking a final qualifying round match against Judd Trump. Trump will be a different proposition for Ford who recently qualified for the Welsh Open televised stages.
Elsewhere Tony Drago has continued in his rich vein of form after victories over Lee Page and John Parrott, both by the same 5-2 scoreline. A 4pm match today against Anthony Hamilton stands between him and a final qualifying rounf match against Stephen Lee. It was be an awesome feat to come through 4 qualifying round matches twice in a row.

As you can see from the results, Ken Doherty has once again blasted his way into round 4 where he will again play Graeme Dott to qualify.
