Mark comes from a public sector background where he worked for the National Health Service for a number of years before leaving in 1998 to work in the private sector in various IT roles. In 2004 Mark set up and currently manages an IT company that provides products and services nationally to public and private sector companies. Mark is heavily involved with the local snooker scene in Derby assisting in the running of a junior snooker club which has been supporting the local community for 15 years. He also actively promotes the World Ladies Billiards and Snooker Association.
