Summary
Tony Drago who won the European qualifier to this seasons World Snooker tour has started well in his bid to reach the main stages of the 2010 Welsh Open.
The Maltese cueman came through the first round with a 5-3 victory over Simon Bedford yesterday and followed this up with a 5-2 win over Peter Lines.
Jimmy Michie is his next opponent and if he can come through that he faces Gerard Greene for a place in the last 32 which will once again be held at the Newport Centre in Newport, South Wales.
There were also wins today for Liu Song, Robert Milkins, Tom Ford and a 5-1 victory for Jimmy White against Jordan Brown. In addition it is also worth mentioning Bjorn Haneveer who has reached the third round with a 5-2 win over 1991 World Champion John Parrott.
