McLeod Wins the Wildcard
38-year-old Rory McLeod has won a coveted Wildcard place at the 2010 Masters Snooker tournament. The world no. 39 will be the first black player to play in the prestigious invitational event in January at Wembley Arena.

IMG Extend World Snooker Rights Deal
IMG Sports Media have recently announced that they have extended their contract with World Snooker Limited to distribute worldwide media rights of World Snooker events for a further five years.
The deal, which now runs until the end of the 2015-16 season, excludes rights in the UK.
