Professional Snooker Coach

Introduction

I have been involved in snooker for over 35 years as a player, snooker club owner and coach. I enjoy passing my interest and enjoyment of the sport onto others by coaching.  During my time I have coached players of all abilities, from 8 year olds to 78 year olds. 

Over the years I have been lucky enough to coach professionals such as Ian McCulloch and Christopher Norbury (both of whom I’ve coached for over ten years)– to name a few, as well as other professionals who have made it into the top 64 of the World Rankings.    

During my coaching career I have helped numerous players to top amateur status.  I always work on an innovative basis with individuals and never treat two players the same as I believe each player brings his own attributes to the game which we work on together.  After all, a good coach should never become more important than the player. 

I am interested in the tactical side of the game as well as the psychological side – and can provide information on all these aspects.  Over the years, through participating in numerous sports and educating myself about the hard work and mental strength needed to succeed at the highest level, I have gained a significant insight into what it takes to be a champion.  I can be contacted through this web site for coaching.
