Kieran was born on the 17/07/1996 Kieran started playing snooker at the age of 3 on a plastic pool table size about 3ft long and a 1ft wide on the floor.
From when he got up in the morning till he went to bed at night you could not prize him away from it. Kieran has got a younger brother called Shea (6yrs) who is equaly as intressted in snooker as kieran was at that age.
Kieran has had a real rough deal so far in life and we admire the way he conducts himself on and off the table.
Kieran idolised my father and would always want to go and see him and ask him if he was going to the pub. I think this was because Kieran knew if he went with him he could play pool. My father past away 5 yrs ago and it still affects Kieran till this day that he lost someone he dearly loved.
Kieran was very fond of his Nan (my mother) sadly she passed away 2 yrs ago. So you can see he has had it bad but it doesn’t stop there....Kieran’s mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour 8yrs ago. And in the last 2yrs we have been told that it is inoperable she was given till December 2005 to live. But she is still going on she has had her ups and downs but she keeps fighting the illness she is now 36yrs old. I myself had major open heart surgery in October 2005.
If I was stood at a pub bar and just met you and told you all this you would think I was a raving loony. But sadly it is all to true. So as you can see Kieran has had a real tough time and needs all the help he can get to further his dream of making it as a professional snooker player. With the little money I had left me from my mother and father’s estate i have had a snooker room built at the bottom of my garden which has a full size Riley Aristocrat snooker table which is champion specs.
Kieran won the award of the most promising prospect at the recent Junior Snooker Festival at Prestatyn (Pontins). He also won the Gloucester under 18 league championships as you can see i and a lot of other people believe in Kieran.
Kieran plays out of the same club as Ex Pro Nick Pearce, Pro Robert Milkins. and up and coming talent Jack Lisowski
As I am a full time carer for my wife I can’t devote the time that Kieran needs but now with MaXimumbreak helping us with promoting Kieran by suppying his own section and giving some coaching we feel it will help further his game and reach his goal?
