Newry youngster Declan Brennan is the Northern Ireland Under-16 Champion for the second year running.

The 15-year-old beat Antrim potter Jamie Martin 4-2 in the national final at the Fountain SC, Larne, to record a third tournament win out of five this season.
And Brennan, who also finished top of the rankings, is young enough to attempt the hat-trick next year. All-Ireland champion at both under-14 and under-16 levels last year, he defends the older age group title in August.
Brennan lost in the first round of Junior Pot Black in Sheffield to Kishan Kotecha (England).
A member of the Cue Club in his home town, Brennan is also top of the under-21 rankings.

QUARTER-FINALS: Declan Brennan (Newry) bt Gary Johnston (Larne) 3-0, Dean Greer (Ballymena) bt Sean McGuckin (Antrim) 3-1, Jamie Martin (Antrim) bt David Smith (Antrim) 3-1, Chris Cunningham (Belfast) bt James Begley (Belfast) 3-2.
SEMI-FINALS: Brennan bt Greer 3-1, Martin bt Cunningham 3-2.
FINAL: Brennan bt Martin 4-2.
