I spent 15 years competing on the professional circuit and gained valuable knowledge and experience of the game from both the physical and emotional aspect.
Since 1998, I have become increasingly involved in coaching and used this knowledge and experience to create detailed coaching programmes, suitable for use with students of all ages and abilities.

Started playing snooker aged 12
First century break made aged 15
First maximum break aged 17
Junior Welsh International 1987, 1988, 1989
Welsh Under 21 champion
Won several Welsh senior events.
Turned professional in 1991World Ranked Top 128 after one season
Reached the last 32 of UK Championship beating Tony Knowles 9 –3
Qualified as a World Snooker Coach in 1998
Experience - Coach
In 2006 retired from the professional circuit in order to focus on my coaching
Career, having achieved Grade A status from World Snooker in 1998 after being
assessed by Ray Reardon MBE.
I have established two junior clubs in the South Wales area, helping to increase participation levels and improve playing performance amongst local snooker Players, and feeding the national association with junior players.
In April 2008 I worked on a pilot scheme, called ‘KIS’ [Kids Into Snooker], set up by Cuefactor in conjunction with the Paul Hunter Foundation. The aim being to help generate interest in snooker amongst disadvantaged young people.
I have undertaken hundreds of hours coaching working in both group and individual environments.
My client list ranges from top professional players to complete beginners.
